Freaknoid
goes to Scotland and Almost Clones Sheep
Many of
you have been wondering, "Where has Freaknoid been"? You have
noticed that his web site has been updated even less often than
normal. Freaknoid was asked to fly to Scotland and talk to the scientist
there who recently cloned a sheep, because they had heard of Freaknoid's
efforts to do the same thing here in the U.S.
It was a
fun, yet at the same time disappointing trip. Fun because Freaknoid had
never been to Scotland, which is located north of England. The people
there are confused about whether or not they are their own country
or a part of England. They get upset if you call them their own
country. So if you go there just don't say anything about which
country they are are or aren't. They do not however get upset if
you talk rudely about France or tell jokes about the Irish.
The trip
was disappointing because after traveling all that way Freaknoid found
out that the technique these scientists were using included lots
of microscopes and glass dishes. The talk was about genetics and
DNA and RNA and molecules. Freaknoid nodded his head as he listened and
pretended to be interested.
But the
real disappointment came when they took Freaknoid to the barn where the
sheep where and then asked him about his technique for cloning.
When he tried to demonstrate there was a big uproar and one of the
female scientists fainted. Freaknoid was then rather rudely asked to
leave.
So he has
returned to the Midwest where cloning techniques are a lot more
fun, but as of yet, are not quite as successful.
